TYPES OF PRESENTATIONS

Participants are invited to submit abstracts of oral presentations and posters to the conference programme committee.
All presentations will be held in English.

Oral presentations

Presentations on any of the themes listed are invited. The paper presenters are kindly asked to restrict their presentations to 15 minutes, followed by 5 minutes for discussion led by the chair of the session. Each session will therefore have a total duration of 20 minutes.

Posters

Posters are invited on any of the themes listed. Poster size is A1 (594mm x 841mm) portrait. Electronic versions of each poster may be uploaded to the online portal. In that case, posters will be printed by the organizers, and printing costs will be charged as a part of the conference fee.

Please note that poster template is not obligatory. Posters should be delivered to the Registration desk of the conference in the morning of the day of your poster presentation. Poster printing services for the price of 20€ (it can be reached trough Fee/Registration in our online registration system) is available until May 10 (submit your posters via This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). After this date, we cannot guarantee that the poster will be ready on time.

Symposia

A Symposium is a multi-presenter session. Participants in a symposium should include a chairperson that sends invitations to four to five presenters. Presenters submit abstracts of their presentations with a code provided by the symposium chairman. A symposium often includes discussants, but this is not obligatory. We encourage submissions in which diverse and new perspectives are presented, as well as sessions in which the audience plays the role of discussant, and the chair facilitates the discussion.

CRITERIA FOR ACCEPTANCE

All abstracts will be blind-reviewed by the editorial and advisory board. Relevance to the themes of the conference and originality of approach are key considerations in the acceptance of papers and posters.

PUBLISHING

Posters and presentations

Posters and presentations delivered to the organizers will be published at a special section of the website of the conference.

Full papers

Authors are invited to submit full papers for publication. Selected papers will undergo reviewing and, if accepted, will be published in one of the journals of the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences: Croatian Review of Rehabilitation Research, Criminology and Social Integration, or Logopedics. Priority will be given to papers based on results of empirical research. But theoretical and review papers will gladly be accepted, as well. Papers should be written in English and submitted via our online registration system (you can submit the full paper after your abstract has been accepted using the link 'manuscript upload'). In the preparation of the manuscript, please follow the Guidelines for Authors available on the web page of each journal.

Special issues of all three journals will be dedicated to the conference papers. Special issues of the journals Criminology and Social Integration and Logopedics are expected to be published in June, while the Croatian Review of Rehabilitation Research special issue is expected in September.
